Dear Chicago/Washington Parents,
Your child will be bringing home Fannie May candy bars to sell for the Chicago field trip(6th graders) or the Washington D.C. field trip (8th graders). We will begin selling the candy bars on November 21, 2011 and continue through Christmas break. The opportunity to sell the candy during the holidays has proven to be a success and we want to attempt it again with a new type of candy bar. Fannie May candy bars are large 2 ounce bars in five flavors: milk chocolate, crispy rice, almond, peanut butter, and caramel. Each case contains 52 bars that sell for $1.00 each. The profit earned is 50%.
Please do not send cash to school with your child. When you sell the complete box of candy, write a check and send in the full amount and another box will be sent home with your child on the same day.
